honestly I’d prefer you just repost my content rather than tag my posts as ‘q slur’. that is my identity, i identify with the queer community, im not interested in a debate about it. theres plenty of ways to filter the word out without demeaning people who identify as queer, especially in contexts where the word isnt being used in any kind of derogatory manner.

i’ve got notes under the working title ‘stein’s gate featuring caleb widogast’, it’s a time travel fic where caleb tries to alter the past to save his parents and in doing so wrecks the timeline and dooms the dwindalian empire, so he keeps trying to tweak things and run the timeline again until another snag requires him to adjust the past again. the notes are a good 2 or 3 years old, so i don’t think it makes sense anymore with how caleb canonically ends the series right now, but it could still be fun

y'all think no woman could ever oppress any man because you're only counting white people

white women and men of color, abled women and disabled men, neurotypical women and neurodivergent men, cis women and trans men, perisex women and intersex men, straight women and queer men, adult women and boys, etc

power dynamics exist everywhere and some people really don't like being reminded of their privilege

genuinely the way ppl treat nudity is insane its literally just bodies

nudity is a completely normal fact of life. people have bodies and sometimes those bodies are naked. there is nothing inherently sexual about a body existing. if youre in a place thats been explicitly designated as somewhere people are naked (eg a changing room) you should probably expect that you will see naked people there. this is okay

nudity also isnt automatically dangerous or threatening to children. again they are bodies. children have these as well

i really love how many ppl are like “i’ve never watched star trek but i would die for data” because that’s truly the biggest mood

literally everyone regardless of whether they’ve seen every single episode of TNG or absolutely zero:

seriously i wish people understood that queerbaiting has almost nothing to do with the actual content of a story. two men can gaze soulfully into each other’s eyes for 45 minutes straight and then at the end be like “oh yes my good pal friend no homo” and its still not anything more than homoerotic and kind of stupid writing.

queerbaiting is a marketing technique to get gay people to buy a ticket. it’s hemming and hawing whenever someone asks about subtext, giving long answers that don’t mean anything to sort of imply “maybe you just need to wait and find out. ;)” it’s interviews where the actors talk about how much they love that particular relationship, and they think they will ~surprise~ you with how it turns out. it’s every single trailer showing these two people almost kissing, even as the creators talk about how offended they are that anyone would think it’s gay.  it’s disney’s 65th First Gay Character that they sort of imply might actually be a main character this time but is yet another nameless asshole. it’s evil, because it’s completely deliberately misrepresenting the actual media just to make a buck.

wilf (wip i’d like to finish)

Hey, here’s a fun new game. Put “📓” or some other version of a book emoji into my inbox and I’ll explain the plot of a fanfiction that I haven’t written but daydream about.
